We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and organizing freight to ensure smooth operations within our distribution center. Responsibilities

  • Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA.
  • Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory movements during shipping and receiving processes.
  • Assist with order picking using pickers and ensure correct items are loaded or unloaded based on shipping documents.
  • Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery.
  • Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods on pallets or containers for optimal space utilization.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment by properly stacking pallets and materials handling equipment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate shipping schedules, prioritize tasks, and optimize workflow efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics operations, including order picking, shipping & receiving, or materials handling.
  • Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, or other industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, pallet jacks, and load/unload procedures.
  • Prior experience in construction or similar environments is a plus for mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts.
