Job description

Part-Time School-Based Physical Therapist

Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Part-Time | 4 hours per week

AnthroMed Education is seeking a Physical Therapist to support young students between 2 schools in DC. This part-time opportunity offers a manageable caseload, flexibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in school-based settings.

Whether you're a new parent who wants flexibility with your schedule or a full time employee looking for more meaningful work when you're not working, this is a wonderful opportunity!

Caseload Overview:

  • Approximately 3 students at the first building and 1 student at the other building
  • Ages range from 3 - 5 years old
  • Assist students with physical mobility using IEP goals to guide therapeutic intervention
  • Flexible availability is ideal given the small number of students on this caseload

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required
  • Active licensure and credentials through LARA
  • Experience in the school setting providing educational physical therapy is strongly preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment recommendations
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district requirements

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The pay range for this position is $60/hour - $70/hour, based on qualifications and experience
  • Employees who work fewer than 30 hours per week are considered part-time and are eligible for AnthroMed's 401(k) retirement plan. This comes with a 100% employer match up to first 3% employee contribution.
