JOB TITLE: Receptionist

WORKER CATEGORY: Part-Time and Full-Time available 

WORKER HOURS: 

  • Part-Time: Every Other Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Full-Time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

RECEPTIONIST BASE WAGE: 

  • Part-Time: $14.50 per hour, plus $1.50 per hour Weekend Shift Differential
  • Full-Time: $16.00 per hour

RECEPTIONIST ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Answer all incoming calls courteously and professionally
  • Answer all incoming door rings and direct visitors
  • Check building / front desk voicemail daily and relay messages
  • Take appropriate messages from callers/families/residents - date/time, from, to, message, callback number, etc.
  • Assist Culinary Department with serving meals as needed
  • Assist Activities Department as needed
  • Assist in organization of office area - check office supplies, report items needing to be reordered, unpack supplies and restock
  • Manage sign in/out for residents and guests (ensuring screening is complete)
  • Deliver all packages / mail at front desk area/front vestibule to resident rooms
  • Perform clerical duties as requested - photocopying, faxing, filing, collating, mailing
