We specialize in helping Veterans reduce wait times for disability and separation health assessments required by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), so they can receive their benefits sooner. What you will do:

  • Perform medical eye exams to evaluate and diagnose chronic and/or disabling ocular conditions- these are medicolegal exams that are diagnostic in nature only and include no treatments, prescribing or follow-up exams
  • Document and submit all exam findings electronically on the Eye Condition Disability Benefit Questionnaire (DBQ)
  • Perform and interpret visual field testing when required
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of electronic medical and service treatment records
  • Complete thorough reviews of evidence-based medical research to provide medical opinions on ocular conditions when requested
