About the Role

We are hiring a part-time Roofing Production Assistant to support our Production Manager with jobsite logistics, material runs, quality checks, and light repair work. It’s a boots-on-the-ground operations support position.
You’ll help keep jobs moving, ensure crews have what they need, and make sure projects finish clean and complete. If you like staying busy, being organized, and working in the field, this is a strong opportunity.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year roofing or construction experience

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable truck (for material transport)
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders comfortably

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
  • Professional and respectful with homeowners and crews
  • Punctual and dependable — this is non-negotiable


Primary Responsibilities


Jobsite & Field Support

  • Assist Production Manager with daily job coordination
  • Perform repairability tests and document findings
  • Complete light repairs, punch-list items, and adjustments
  • Install basic ventilation (ridge vents, box vents, attic fans, etc.)
  • Support emergency tarping or storm-response when needed
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites
Logistics & Materials

  • Deliver and pick up materials from suppliers and job sites each day
  • Help stage materials and prep upcoming jobs
  • Pick up and submit Certificates of Completion and job documents
  • Help maintain organized shop/storage areas
Quality Control & Documentation

  • Conduct jobsite quality checks
  • Document progress via CompanyCam
  • Review EagleView and Hover reports for accuracy
  • Communicate job updates clearly to Production Manager
Preferred (Not Required)

  • Roofing, siding, or gutter experience
  • Familiar with JobNimbus or CompanyCam
  • Basic handyman skills
  • Understanding of residential ventilation systems
  • OSHA/jobsite safety awareness
