Medical Equipment Service Technician (Delivery & Repair)
Atlantic Healthcare Products is seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to deliver, install, adjust, and repair medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare settings.
This role requires strong hands-on ability, technical judgment, and professionalism. You will work directly with customers, caregivers, and patients, so the ideal candidate must be able to combine mechanical skill with clear communication and a strong sense of responsibility.
We are especially interested in someone who has the potential to grow into a lead technician and help train others over time.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver and install medical equipment in customer homes and facilities
  • Perform adjustments, light repairs, and troubleshooting in the field
  • Diagnose basic mechanical or functional issues and determine the next step
  • Ensure equipment is safe, clean, properly assembled, and functioning correctly
  • Educate customers and caregivers on proper equipment use and basic care
  • Document deliveries, service calls, and repair notes accurately
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, service, and office staff
  • Represent the company professionally in customers' homes at all times

What We're Looking For
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot and think through problems logically
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the job
  • Professional communication skills with customers and coworkers

  • Reliable, punctual, organized, and safety-minded

Preferred Experience
  • Medical equipment, mobility equipment, or repair experience
  • Experience in delivery, installation, assembly, or service work
  • Background in automotive, HVAC, maintenance, electrical, or other hands-on technical work
  • Experience helping train or guide less-experienced team members is a plus

Growth Opportunity:
This role has the potential to grow into a lead technician / trainer position for the right person. We value people who take ownership, solve problems, and help raise the standard for the team around them.
Important Note:
This is a hands-on technical role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable turning screws, using tools, troubleshooting equipment, and working directly with customers. If you are not mechanically inclined, this position is likely not the right fit.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly base pay with performance-based incentive opportunities
  • Health benefits
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Employee discounts on products
  • Opportunity for growth into a lead technician / trainer role

How to Apply
