What are part time remote jobs?

Part time remote jobs are positions that allow employees to work fewer hours than a full-time schedule—typically less than 30-35 hours per week—from a location outside the traditional office, such as their home or another remote location. These jobs span various industries, including customer service, writing, tech support, and data entry. Part time remote roles offer flexibility in terms of work hours and location, making them popular among students, parents, and those seeking work-life balance. Employers may require regular check-ins or set work schedules, but the key benefit is the ability to complete job tasks without commuting to a physical office. These positions often utilize digital tools for communication and collaboration.

What are some effective strategies for staying productive and maintaining communication when working part time in a remote role?

Working part-time remotely requires good time management and proactive communication. Setting a clear schedule and dedicated workspace can help you stay focused and organized. Regularly checking in with your team via messaging platforms or scheduled meetings ensures you're aligned with ongoing projects and helps prevent feelings of isolation. Using task management tools and setting daily goals can also keep you on track and make it easier to balance your workload with other responsibilities.

Early Lens Neurobehavioral Center (ELNC)
Location: Remote – Maryland
Employment: Part-Time
Compensation: $80–$110/hour
Early Lens Neurobehavioral Center (ELNC) is seeking a compassionate, experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with an active Maryland LBA to join our growing clinical team in a part-time remote capacity.
The Behavior Analyst will provide clinical oversight, treatment planning, staff supervision, caregiver guidance, and data-based case consultation for assigned clients receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This position is ideal for a BCBA/LBA seeking flexible part-time hours while remaining meaningfully involved in clinical care and team development.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical oversight for assigned ABA cases.
  • Develop, review, and modify individualized treatment plans, behavior support plans, and skill-acquisition programs.
  • Analyze client data and make data-based treatment decisions.
  • Provide remote supervision, clinical consultation, and protocol modification when clinically appropriate and permitted by payer and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, coach, and provide performance feedback to RBTs/BTs.
  • Support implementation of evidence-based interventions including FCT, DRA/DRI, reinforcement procedures, antecedent strategies, behavior-reduction protocols, and generalization programming.
  • Conduct and/or contribute to functional and skills-based assessments.
  • Provide caregiver training and family guidance through telehealth when appropriate.
  • Monitor treatment integrity, client progress, barriers to treatment, and staff performance.
  • Review clinical documentation for quality, accuracy, and consistency with treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with families, RBTs, clinical leadership, schools, and other treatment providers as appropriate.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and case consultations as needed.
  • Complete documentation within ELNC and payer-required timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with BACB ethical requirements, Maryland regulations, HIPAA, payer requirements, and ELNC policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.

  • Active Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license in good standing.

  • Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and overseeing ABA treatment programs.
  • Strong knowledge of skill acquisition, functional assessment, behavior reduction, caregiver training, and data analysis.
  • Ability to effectively supervise and provide feedback to RBTs/BTs.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a confidential, HIPAA-appropriate remote workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with center-based, home, school, and community ABA services; telehealth supervision; caregiver training; moderate-to-severe challenging behavior; and assessments such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, and FAST is preferred.
Schedule & Compensation
This is a part-time remote position with flexible scheduling based on caseload and clinical needs. Afternoon and/or early evening availability is preferred.
Compensation: $80–$110 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, availability, and assigned responsibilities.
Join ELNC in providing individualized, compassionate, and data-driven care while supporting families and developing strong clinical teams.
Early support. Equitable access. Lifelong impact.
