Location: Ann Arbor or Detroit, MI (Remote position in either locals school sites required)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: Flexible daytime schedule based on assigned school programs and site visits
Assignment Dates: Multiple assignment opportunities available throughout the school year, including after-school programs, field trips, special events, and mini camps
Compensation: $30.00 per hour
Travel: Reliable transportation is required, as this role supports multiple schools and program locations within the region.

Nexplore Regional Excellence Coordinator (REC)
The Regional Excellence Coordinator (REC) is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation, quality assurance, and day-to-day operational excellence of Nexplore programs across multiple schools and sites within an assigned region.
As the primary field representative for Nexplore, the REC serves as the bridge between the Program Success Manager, instructors, school partners, students, and families. Through coaching, site visits, problem-solving, and relationship building, the REC ensures every Nexplore program is delivered with excellence while fostering the joy of learning.
The REC reports directly to the Program Success Manager (PSM).
➕ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Consistency
  • Support the successful implementation of Nexplore programs across assigned schools and regions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure instructional quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure instructors receive lesson plans, materials, and logistical support before classes begin.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, site reports, and operational updates.

Competence
  • Coach, mentor, and support instructors to deliver exceptional classroom experiences.
  • Observe classrooms and provide real-time feedback and professional development.
  • Assist with onboarding, classroom management, and instructor success.
  • Develop expertise in Nexplore curriculum and program offerings.

Communication
  • Serve as the primary liaison between instructors, Program Success Managers, site coordinators, and internal departments.
  • Build strong relationships with school administrators and community partners.
  • Provide proactive updates regarding staffing, program health, customer concerns, and operational needs.
  • Support instructor check-ins, including first-class follow-ups and ongoing coaching.

Creativity
  • Develop solutions to staffing, scheduling, classroom, and operational challenges.
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program quality and the overall customer experience.

Community
  • Foster positive relationships with instructors, students, school staff, and families.
  • Collect photos, testimonials, and success stories from programs.
  • Support family engagement events, showcases, and community initiatives.
