What is part time remote telepsychiatry?

Part time remote telepsychiatry is a mental health service where psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners provide care to patients via secure online platforms, rather than in-person, for a set number of hours per week. The role typically involves conducting virtual consultations, diagnosing mental health conditions, prescribing medications, and offering follow-up care. Telepsychiatry can be performed from any location with a reliable internet connection, making it a convenient option for both clinicians and patients.
