Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients in individual, family, and group settings, using various methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, reflecting clients' progress and care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide care for a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • Possess a valid and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.
  • Proficiency in legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with a diverse clientele effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Unity Point Behavioral Health Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
