Job description

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Administrative Operations Intern in our Oak Creek, Wisconsin or Milwaukee, Wisconsin locations. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2027 with the potential to work part-time during the fall 2026 semester or the spring 2027 semester. The hourly rate for this internship is $21.30 with paid company holidays. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin or Oak Creek, Wisconsin office.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ability to assist with technical writing
  • Create documentation for developing technical application enhancements/modifications.
  • Develop and design standardized communications for internal usage
  • SharePoint design and development
  • Organizing electronic files on shared drives
  • Software testing and security
  • Master data maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Business Administration, User experience, Technical Communication/Writing, or closely related field with a graduation date after July 2027
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Valid driver's license

End Date: 11/15/2026 

Pay Range Minimum:  $21.30

Pay Range Maximum:  $24.60

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
