Description
The Teen Leadership Coordinator manages the day-to-day logistics, scheduling, and facilitation of the Teen Leadership program, including monthly virtual meetings and monthly in-person community service or leadership field trips. This role oversees the program budget, promotes the program including through social media, and ensures compliance with grant requirements. The coordinator also leads the annual HBCU college trip from planning through execution and works to build new partnerships and opportunities for program participants.
Note: This role is remote except for in-person meetings, field trips, staff events, and any other in-person needs as directed.
Pay rate: $22.00 per hour - 10 hours per week
Program end date: June 18, 2027
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or 3-4 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technology skills required, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use program software, scheduling tools, and other digital systems. For example: Google Suites, Microsoft Office, Bright wheel.
  • Required availability during Worcester Public Schools vacation weeks, school closures, evening events, and weekends. Including specific annual programming around Thanksgiving, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, and New Year's Eve.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable access to a personal vehicle.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, highly preferable.
