Where You Will Work:

This position is fully remote, with a contingency plan to the closest Atrium facility with telestroke set up.

We're Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of RN experience, this position is not for new grads

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

  • Must have NIHSS certification

  • Experience in critical care, emergency services, and/or care of acute stroke patients

What You'll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

  • Telestroke RN works collaboratively with the medical team to coordinate appropriate care for acute stroke patients via virtual care

About This Location:

Remote position that cares for the acute stroke population in the Greater Charlotte Market. Must be able to deploy to local Atrium facility if needed.
