Job description

Summary or overview of job duties:

Starting pay rate is $19. After successful completion of training, rate increases to $19.50. After additional training on web tickets, rate increases to $20.

All applicants must live within driving distance of our Piscataway, NJ office.

Full and part-time shifts available. All applicants must be able to work one of the shifts below:

Full time:

7a-4p (limited)

7:30a-4:30p (limited)

8a-5p

8:30a-5:30p

9a-6p

Part time:

6:30a-12p

9:30a-3p

12:30p-6p

All classroom training is full time (M-F from 8:30a-5:30p). Classroom training and on-the-phone training is in our Piscataway office. After successful completion of a portion of phone training, the position is remote. Everyone should plan to be in the office for at least 1 month.

We are an inbound call center that processes mark out requests for excavation purposes. All candidates must enjoy customer service and answering incoming calls. He/she must have the ability to accurately type a minimum of 35 wpm. The employee must project a professional image through phone and personal interaction. He/she must be able to troubleshoot problems and provide resolution to our clientโ€™s inquiries. In addition this position requires a detail oriented individual with excellent attendance.

Requirements

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers complete locate requests and/or resolve customer questions
  • Process web tickets and respond to web chat requests
  • Monitor EIs and call out backup messages as necessary
  • Present and discuss the products and services of the company to customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
