These roles typically require strong organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency with healthcare software and privacy regulations. Part time positions may offer flexible hours and are ideal for individuals seeking work-life balance or supplemental income. Job description

Senior Healthcare Recruiter – Remote | 100% Commission | Permanent Placement Headhunter

We are seeking experienced Healthcare Recruiters / Headhunters for a fully remote, high-commission opportunity with a national permanent placement healthcare search firm.

This is not an HR role.

This is not a staffing coordinator position.

This is not a “post and pray” recruiting job.

This is a true headhunter role focused on proactive sourcing, outbound recruiting, and full-cycle permanent placement.

If you have worked in agency recruiting, search, or contingency placement, this will feel familiar.

If your background is only internal recruiting or HR, this role will likely not be a fit.

Compensation

  • 100% Commission
  • High fee structure
  • Unlimited earning potential
  • Fully remote / work from home

Our typical placement fees are in the:

  • $10,000
  • $15,000
  • $20,000+
  • Higher for leadership searches

This means a single placement can generate 5000 – $10,000+ in commission depending on the fee.

Additional Commission for Business Development

Recruiters who generate new client relationships are rewarded with additional commission.

When a recruiter is responsible for bringing on a new client, they receive:

  • An additional 10% of the placement fee on hires made with that client.

This allows full-desk recruiters to significantly increase their earnings by developing their own accounts in addition to filling existing searches.

Top producers earn well into six figures.

This is a production-based role that rewards activity, consistency, and follow-through.

What This Role Actually Is

We are a permanent placement healthcare search firm, not a job board recruiting company.

Our recruiters do not wait for applicants.

We proactively identify, research, source, and recruit candidates every day.

This role requires:

  • Heavy outbound phone activity
  • Daily sourcing and research
  • Recruiting passive candidates
  • Finding candidate contact information
  • Consistent follow-up
  • Managing multiple searches at once

Expect to make 50+ outbound calls per day to be successful.

Most of the candidates we recruit are:

  • Physicians
  • Nurse Practitioners / PAs
  • Nurses
  • Therapists
  • Healthcare leaders

These candidates are rarely applying to jobs.

There is a massive imbalance between open positions and available clinicians, which means success comes from proactive recruiting, not posting ads.

This is a sales-driven recruiting role.

Workload Expectations

This is a full-time, performance-driven position.

This is not a part-time opportunity, side job, or casual recruiting role.

You should expect to work 40+ hours per week to be successful.

Permanent placement recruiting requires daily activity, persistence, and consistency.

Recruiters who expect to work limited hours or rely only on inbound applicants typically do not succeed in a commission-only environment.

Who Will Succeed in This Role

This role is best suited for recruiters with experience in:

  • Healthcare recruiting
  • Agency recruiting
  • Search firm recruiting
  • Permanent placement recruiting
  • Full-desk recruiting
  • Headhunting / outbound sourcing

You will do well if you:

  • Are competitive and self-motivated
  • Enjoy working the phone
  • Are comfortable with commission income
  • Have strong sourcing skills
  • Can work independently
  • Understand recruiting is a production role
  • Want unlimited income potential

Who Should NOT Apply

This role is not a fit for someone who:

  • Needs a base salary
  • Only wants inbound applicants
  • Is uncomfortable making outbound calls
  • Has only worked in HR / internal recruiting
  • Is not comfortable with performance expectations
  • Is looking for part-time work

About Us

We are a national permanent placement healthcare recruiting firm supporting hospitals, physician groups, home health, hospice, outpatient, behavioral health, and specialty practices across the United States.

We operate in a true search-firm model with:

  • High placement fees
  • High commission splits
  • High expectations
  • High earning potential

Our recruiters operate as professional search consultants and are expected to work with urgency, accountability, and consistency.
