Job description

Our local Atlanta metro accounting firm is looking for a seasoned part-time bookkeeper. Candidate should have 5+ years experience with QuickBooks Online. Must have an understanding of recording downloaded bank transactions, posting deposits from undeposited funds and matching bank deposits, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, recording principal/interest split for loan transactions, adding assets, setting up loan liabilities, setting up recurring depreciation/amortization entries, reviewing Profit & Loss and Balance sheet to identify discrepancies that require correction and familiarity with posting and reviewing payroll transactions. Candidate should have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Candidate should also have great communication skills for interaction with clients on the phone and over email.


Position will offer remote work for 10-15 hours per week with potential to increase hours in the future. Prefer candidates in the metro-Atlanta area preferred. References are required.
