Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create tailored therapeutic strategies for clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic methodologies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support and continuity of care for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of client confidentiality and care quality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and workshops to remain abreast of current mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Gateway Behavioral Health Services, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a relevant field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Massachusetts.
