Junior WordPress Website Developer (Part-Time, Remote)

Based in Los Angeles, BD&J Injury Lawyers is a leading personal injury law firm, having recovered over $2 billion for our clients. We pride ourselves on providing results-driven representation and a client experience people can trust.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior WordPress Website Developer to support our Marketing team with front-end website development and optimization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in web development who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

California residency is a requirement.


Responsibilities include:
 

  • Build and design WordPress pages that stay consistent with brand standards
  • Develop new and update existing web pages to support marketing campaigns
  • Implement responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, and Avada WordPress theme tools
  • Ability to design layouts “in browser” following similar layouts
  • Ability to design “in-browser” to recreate established layouts for new pages
  • Support light back-end development tasks when needed
  • Work across multiple firm websites and digital properties

Skills & Requirements:


• Minimum 2 years of experience in website development and design
• Proficiency in WordPress, including common plugins
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience working with the Avada WordPress theme
• Familiarity with PHP and JavaScript
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design direction
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment
