Elevate Brain Injury & Mental Health, a division of MaxHealth MSO, is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful psychiatric care for patients experiencing complex neurological, psychological, and behavioral health conditions, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related conditions.

As a Psychiatrist at Elevate, you will collaborate closely with Neurologists, Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

This position is ideal for a physician who enjoys collaborative care and wants to make a lasting impact in an innovative, growing specialty practice.


This position is posted as full-time, W2. But please note that we are open to part-time and/or 1099 employment.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations through a secure telemedicine platform.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions using evidence-based practices.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up.
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Neurologists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure integrated, patient-centered treatment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational standards related to patient care, prescribing, privacy, and telemedicine.
  • Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care while fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices.


Qualifications


Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
  • Current DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances.
  • Experience diagnosing and treating adult psychiatric disorders.
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable delivering care through telemedicine technologies.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred

  • Experience treating patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, post-concussion syndrome, chronic pain, or other neurological conditions.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care.
  • Previous telepsychiatry experience.
  • Familiarity with collaborative or integrated behavioral health models.
