Senior Project Coordinator - Specialist VII

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Coordinator leads the implementation of complex projects within the Consolidated Collections Unit (CCU). This position works closely with cross-functional, multi-project teams to ensure solutions are effectively planned, executed, and delivered. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project and test plans, coordinating analysis and design activities, supporting technical testing, monitoring progress against established timelines, and preparing the documentation to guide projects from initial request through implementation.

Additional duties include, analyzing the business needs of the subject business process, by overseeing and developing business and scope documents and requirements, ensuring technical, legal and project requirements are established and met, working closely with multiple internal and external groups. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations; create statistical and reporting requirement documentation; and ensure projects and initiatives are completed in line with organizational long-term goals and objectives.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in related field and seven years related work experience or the equivalent Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement. The ideal candidate will have sound understanding of project management in relation to timeframes, dependencies and critical paths, demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects successfully, and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. This position also requires the ability to work with and monitor the performance of contracted or outside organizations in a contracting environment and have proficiency in automation design, business process and requirements analyses.

The preferred candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Project or Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint, SQL fundamental skills, and knowledge of MAS and accounting required by Arizona courts and collection of overdue financial debts, preferably in a court environment.

Travel level: up to 10%

SELECTION PROCESS:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Only applicants whose backgrounds most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to interview. The Selection Process may include computer testing (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, proofreading, typing, etc.) and first and/or second round panel interviews. This is a Regular, Full-time, Exempt position.
