Part Time Remote Assistant information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time remote assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Remote Assistant, you need strong organizational skills, time management, and proficiency in administrative tasks, often supported by prior experience or relevant coursework. Familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and communication platforms like Slack or Zoom is typically required. Excellent written communication, self-motivation, and adaptability are standout soft skills for this role. These abilities ensure efficient support, seamless remote collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

What is the difference between Part Time Remote Assistant vs Virtual Executive Assistant?

AspectPart Time Remote AssistantVirtual Executive Assistant
CredentialsBasic administrative skills, sometimes certificationsAdvanced organizational skills, often with certifications
Work EnvironmentRemote, flexible hours, part-timeRemote, often full-time or flexible hours
Employer & IndustrySmall businesses, startups, entrepreneursExecutives, corporate clients, larger organizations
Search & Comparison IntentLooking for flexible, part-time support rolesSeeking high-level administrative support for executives

While both roles are remote administrative positions, a Part Time Remote Assistant typically handles general tasks for small businesses or entrepreneurs on a flexible schedule. A Virtual Executive Assistant usually provides specialized, high-level support to executives, often requiring more experience and offering potentially higher compensation. The key difference lies in the scope of responsibilities and the level of expertise required.

How does a part time remote assistant typically communicate and collaborate with their team and supervisors?

As a part-time remote assistant, you will primarily use digital tools such as email, instant messaging (like Slack or Microsoft Teams), and video conferencing platforms (such as Zoom or Google Meet) to stay connected with your team and supervisors. Clear and proactive communication is essential, as you'll often work independently but need to regularly update your manager on task progress or ask for clarification. Many organizations also use shared project management tools (like Trello or Asana) to assign and track tasks, ensuring everyone stays organized and aligned. Developing strong written communication skills and being comfortable with virtual collaboration are key to succeeding in this role.

What is a part time remote assistant?

Part time remote assistants are professionals who provide administrative, organizational, or specialized support services to individuals or businesses from a remote location. They typically work fewer hours than full-time employees and perform tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing emails, data entry, and customer support. This flexible role allows both employers and assistants to benefit from increased productivity and cost-effectiveness without the need for a physical office presence.

Job description

What You'll Be Part Of:

iSpot.tv helps advertisers measure the brand and business impact of TV and streaming advertising,ย from concept to airing to conversion. Fast, accurate and actionable measurement and attributionย solutions enable advertisers to assess creative effectiveness, optimize media plans and attributeย advertising results for cross-platform campaigns, all while benchmarking against competitors andย historical norms. Unlike legacy and ad hoc solutions, iSpot is purpose-built to measure theย performance of every ad on television with digital-like precision and granularity in real time. Withย always-on performance insights unified across linear and streaming TV, advertisers can take quickย and confident action to consistently drive business results.

As the Executive Assistant supporting our Chief Revenue Officer & President and our Chief Productย Officer, you will be at the literal intersection of our growth and innovation engines. You will operate inย a fast-paced, high-impact environment where the monetization of our platform meets the developmentย of our cutting-edge products. By keeping our top revenue and product leaders aligned, organized, andย ahead of the curve, you directly enable iSpot to scale, innovate, and continue revolutionizing the ad-tech industry.

Responsibilities:

Masterfully manage and optimize complex, fast-changing calendars for both theย CRO/President and CPO, ensuring high-priority business needs are prioritized and schedulingย conflicts are seamlessly resolved.

Plan, prepare, and coordinate critical meetings, including leadership offsites, boardย presentations, product roadmap reviews, and client-facing revenue summits.

Serve as a strategic gatekeeper and primary point of contact for internal teams, major clients,ย and external partners, handling inquiries with discretion, professionalism, and speed.

Manage end-to-end travel arrangements (domestic and occasional international) and accurately process monthly expense reports in accordance with company policy.
Assist in drafting correspondence, aggregating team updates, and preparing high-quality presentation decks or materials for executive-level meetings.
Project Tracking: Help track deliverables, action items, and follow-ups coming out of executive meetings to ensure cross-departmental alignment between the Product and Revenue organizations.
Culture & Collaboration: Partner with the broader EA and administrative team to foster a positive, collaborative corporate culture. Qualifications and Education Requirements:
5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior C-suite leadership in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial SaaS or digital media environment. Must have a proven track record of handling high-volume operational cycles alongside Revenue and Product executives.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical administrative experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to interact confidently with high-profile brand advertisers, agency partners, board members, and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
Master-level organizational skills with the agility to pivot quickly when corporate objectives, product sprint roadmaps, or market priorities change.
Absolute integrity and demonstrated success handling highly sensitive information and confidential corporate, revenue, and product data.
Advanced proficiency with productivity suites (Google Workspace/Microsoft 365), project management tools, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Slack).
Strong visual formatting skills (ability to make PowerPoint/Google Slides decks look polished, precise, and presentable for key executive presentations).
Additional Notes:
This role is fully remote the majority of the time but may require travel up to 15% of the time. Travel will primarily include attending quarterly leadership offsites, board meetings, major industry conferences, or key client summits alongside the CRO and CPO

Target base cash compensation range: $104,000-130,000 USD Annually.ย ย

We are committed to providing competitive, market-informed compensation. The cash compensation above includes base salary, variable commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all full time iSpotters are eligible to participate in iSpot's equity plan to receive stock options. Non-exempt roles will also be eligible for (pre-approved) overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are influenced by different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Hybrid & Flexible Workplace Policy

iSpot supports a hybrid and flexible workplace. Depending on location and work responsibilities, employees may be designated as full-time or part-time office-based or a fully remote employee. A hybrid work schedule indicates that you work in the office some days and work from home other days. The best hybrid workplaces allow for flexibility while also encouraging consistency.ย

Those local or living in surrounding areas to one of our offices (Bellevue, WA or New York, NY) will work a hybrid schedule, coming into their local office 1-3 days a week. While those in a role, not office-based and located further away from our offices, will work a fully remote schedule. If you have questions regarding exact details of our hybrid & flexible workplace policy, please let your recruiter know and they will discuss with you further.
