Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Support to join our team. This role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to work comfortably with and around children with varying needs. The ideal candidate can be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and families, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere while also assisting with clerical and organizational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and families in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Support therapeutic childcare-related tasks when needed, including monitoring children in waiting areas.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality policies when handling sensitive information.
  • Coordinate with staff members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Handle basic billing, invoicing, and record-keeping as required.
  • Have experience working with children and able to read or interact with them when needed. 
  • Must have the ability to collect notes and data verbatim
  • Must be physically active. 
  • Must be able to run a group. 
  • Must have the ability to be friendly, outgoing, an effective ongoing communicator with the clients, play therapist experience is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role preferred.
  • Comfortable working with children and able to assist in a therapeutic childcare setting if needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
  • College experience and or Degree Preferred
