After you apply to this job, you can share why you’re interested to jump to the top of the candidate list.

Job description

Not a desk job person? You’ll probably love this role :)

One day you’re photographing a lakefront property in Bigfork, the next you’re capturing mountain views in Whitefish. Each day you will be meeting new people, helping local real estate agents market homes, and learning new creative skills along the way.

Every day looks a little different here, and honestly, that’s one of the best parts of the job.

We like to say we’re customer service people first, we just happen to hold a camera.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Enjoys being out and about instead of sitting behind a desk
  • Likes flexible, independent work
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Enjoys working with people
  • Wants to learn creative skills while growing with a supportive team

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

About the Role

We’re looking for a positive, coachable, and service-oriented team member to join our growing real estate media company serving Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, and the surrounding Flathead Valley.

This is much more than a photography position.

You’ll represent our brand in the field while working directly with real estate agents, homeowners, builders, and business owners to create high-quality listing media and provide an exceptional client experience.

While photography experience is a significant plus, we care far more about:

  • Attitude
  • Reliability
  • Professionalism
  • Communication
  • Coachability
  • Willingness to learn

We can teach photography.

We can teach drone services.

We can teach video.

What we can’t teach is being someone people genuinely enjoy working with!

What You’ll Do

  • Travel locally to residential and commercial properties for scheduled appointments
  • Capture professional real estate photography using our proven systems and shot process
  • Interact professionally with agents, homeowners, builders, and business owners
  • Learn additional services including drone photography, videography, 3D virtual tours, and floor plans
  • Follow direction and apply coaching feedback consistently
  • Upload media after appointments (no editing required)
  • Help create a smooth, friendly, and professional experience for every client

This is an active, people-focused role where no two days are exactly the same.

Schedule & Availability

  • Monday-Friday daytime availability preferred
  • Approximately 20 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling based on appointments
  • Local travel throughout the Flathead Valley required
  • Additional opportunities may be available during peak seasons

Must live within 30 miles of Kalispell, MT, including Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Bigfork, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Comfortable driving locally between appointments
  • Home computer/laptop with reliable high-speed internet
  • Comfortable learning new technology and creative tools
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) a 2011 or newer vehicle suitable for driving between appointments
  • Background check required

Compensation & Growth Opportunities

  • Paid Training: $20/hour
  • Photography Certified: $25/hour
  • Photography + FAA Part 107 Certified: $30/hour
  • Fully Certified for Video & Additional Services: $35/hour
  • Mileage Reimbursement: $0.30/mile
  • Additional Travel Compensation: Available for longer-distance appointments

FAA Part 107 certification is not required to apply but will be required shortly after hire. We’ll provide guidance and support throughout the certification process.

There’s also strong opportunity for long-term growth as the company expands.

The more skills you learn and services you’re certified to perform, the greater your earning potential.

What We’re Looking For

  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Positive, team-first attitude
  • Friendly and professional with clients
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative
  • Service-oriented and thoughtful
  • Comfortable learning new skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented

Preferred but NOT Required

  • Photography experience
  • Videography experience
  • Drone certification
  • Customer service experience
  • Real estate industry exposure

This Role May NOT Be a Fit If You…

  • Prefer sitting behind a desk
  • Dislike driving or changing environments
  • Need guaranteed fixed hours every week
  • Want a highly predictable routine every day
  • Prefer minimal interaction with people
  • Struggle with feedback or direction

Why People Enjoy Working With Us

  • Paid hands-on training
  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • No office environment
  • Opportunity to learn photography, drone, video, virtual tours, and floor plans
  • Mileage and travel reimbursement
  • Supportive and encouraging team environment
  • Clear path for increased responsibility and pay growth
  • Meaningful work helping local businesses market properties successfully
  • Every day feels different and engaging

At the end of the day, we’re simply looking for good people who enjoy serving others, working hard, and growing with a positive team.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
