Job description

Description OPEN UNTIL FILLED Alamance Community College is seeking a professional, dynamic, and state-certified Real Estate Instructor to join our Adjunct Faculty team. This part-time position requires an adaptable educator capable of delivering quality instruction across multiple modalities, including traditional in-person classrooms and synchronous online/hybrid environments. The successful candidate will be qualified to teach the complete spectrum of North Carolina real estate education: Pre-Licensure, Post-Licensure, and Continuing Education (CE) units.

Because this program operates under strict state regulations, compliance with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC) reporting rules, attention to detail as it relates to documentation and classroom management are mandatory. Classroom Management & Student Engagement: Establish an active, inclusive, and professional learning environment

Employ modern instructional techniques that discourage digital distractions, encourage active student participation, and accommodate diverse learning styles. Documentation & Compliance: Accurately track and maintain precise student attendance, grading rosters, and course validation records in strict alignment with college and NCREC policies. Institutional Collaboration: Work professionally and cooperatively with program coordinators, administrative staff, and fellow faculty members to ensure seamless course execution.

Professionalism: Serve as a role model of industry standards in the classroom by demonstrating punctuality, integrity, preparation, and respectful communication. Typical Qualifications Minimum Qualifications & Requirements NCREC Certification: Must be a current, North Carolina Real Estate Commission Approved Instructor in good standing. Verification Credentials: Applicants must provide their official North Carolina Real Estate Broker ID Number AND their NCREC Instructor Identification Number upon application for state verification.

Post-Secondary Transcripts: Submission of official post-secondary education transcripts is required upon hire to verify credential competency and establish the appropriate scale for pay rate determination. Experience: Proven track record of active real estate brokerage experience or equivalent legal/instructional experience as mandated by the NCREC "Seven-Year Rule." Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage and instruct effectively using video-conferencing technology (Zoom/Teams) and learning management systems (LMS). Preferred Qualifications Prior instructional experience within the North Carolina Community College System

Demonstrated mastery of synchronous online instructional tools and methods to maximize remote student engagement. Supplemental Information Special Notes to Applicants This is a part-time, adjunct position. Scheduling Flexibility: Course schedules are highly flexible and are by no means set in stone.

Exact instructional dates, times, and days of the week vary and are open to coordination based on program needs and instructor availability.* Instructional Modality & Preferences: We are seeking a flexible educator to teach both in-person and online; however, this is fully open for discussion. If you have a strong personal preference regarding how you like to run and structure your real estate courses, we are highly open to collaborating with you to find a format that works best.* Pay Range: The expected hourly pay rate is $32.00 to $38.00 per hour. Placement within this range is directly determined by your highest verified level of educational attainment.* An ACC on-line application MUST be fully completed for consideration, which includes a required letter of interest, transcript attachment
