Position Overview
We are seeking part-time Real Estate Instructors to support students in New Mexico via our online courses for Colibri Real Estate. The instructor will familiarize themselves with our pre-licensing courses and assist students by replying to content questions via email.
This is a part-time, contract position with an estimated commitment of 2-10 hours per week, with pay based on hours worked and other position requirements.
What Youll Do
Complete all documentation and duties to become a recognized instructor or Instructor of Record.
Support students by responding to emails, voicemails, and discussion board inquiries within one business day.
Review and assist in updating course content as needed.
Complete training and stay current with technology systems.
Familiarize with course content and layout.
Obtain and maintain the 16-hour CDEI designation through IDECC within four months of starting, with costs reimbursed.
File necessary paperwork for state approvals and course renewals.
Allow use of your name and signature on course completion certificates.
Provide feedback on course materials and report regulatory changes.
Prepare and deliver a 15-60 minute presentation for the Education Advisory Committee for each pre-license course.
What Youll Need to Succeed
3-5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or attorney.
Active NM real estate license.
Attend instructor training or development workshops within one year of approval.
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
