Dietitian Part Time

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Complete nutrition assessment and follow ups on patients with increased nutritional needs, in accordance with facility policies.
  • Documents patient information, as well as assessment of nutritional goals and/or changes in the status in the medical record/database.
  • Educates Staff, Nursing, Food Service employees on issues regarding special dietary needs. to learn about their health goals and dietary needs, preferences, and restrictions.
  • Attends patient rounds on assigned departments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition. health, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Certification/Licensure as required by the State of New Mexico
