Position Overview:

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join an established multispecialty, outpatient practice in East New York, Brooklyn. This role focuses on providing evidence-based nutritional care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
    • Specific coursework completion from an ACEND-accredited program.
    • Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program of a minimum of 1,000 hours.
  • Licensure:
    • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license.
    • Further certifications, if applicable, in common specialties recognized under and received by the CDR (Board Certified Specialist).
  • Experience:
    • At least 1 year of technical experience in the nutrition field preferred.

  • Soft Skills:
    • Proven experience in hospital or healthcare settings with a strong background in dietetics and clinical nutrition.
    • Knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and disease processes affecting nutritional needs.
    • Skilled in-patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation of nutritional deficiencies or concerns.
