Job Details:
  • Registered Behavior Technician Position for school/in-home setting
  • Part time position: 20-25 hours per week Monday thru Friday with 9a-1pm in the home
  • Excellent Leadership support

  • Pay Rate: $20 per hour based on experience

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a home/school setting.
  • Teach self-help skills, language/communication skills, and social skills to clients with autism across the lifespan in a 1:1 and group setting
  • Implement behavior intervention plans to decrease maladaptive behaviors
  • Collect data electronically on individualized treatment goals
  • Provide daily written and verbal progress notes on treatment goals
  • Communicate, orally and in a written form, in a clear and effective manner–with clients, families, and coworkers
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops (as assigned by your supervisors) to acquire further knowledge

Qualifications for the Position:

  • Required: Being capable of lifting 50lbs.
  • Must live in the state of Kentucky or Indiana.
  • Required: Being capable of performing physical activity.
  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: RBT Certification, Experience, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related field. Other fields are considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.
  • Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by the code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, technology, and training to perform job responsibilities.
