Job description

In addition, Canyon Ranch operates North Americas largest day spa at The Venetian® hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Canyon Ranch is a 13-time winner of Travel + Leisure’s Best Spa Award, an 11-time recipient of the Condé Nast Traveler Best Destination Spa Award, and both wellness resorts were named in the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Hotels rankings.


Responsibilities

The Vitality Attendant is primarily responsible for the smooth, efficient operation and impeccably neat and clean appearance of the Canyon Ranch Vitality spaces. Vitality Attendants are also responsible for providing world-class guest service and ensuring the best possible Canyon Ranch experience. The Vitality Attendant will be a knowledgeable resource on equipment and technology in the Canyon Ranch Vitality space and serve as a resource to guests utilizing the facilities for proper set-up and use of each piece of equipment as well as the overall benefits of each area. The attendant will also recommend and schedule complementary services and activities as well as sell retail items. This position reports to the Director of Health & Performance.

Guest Service: Greets guests with a smile and ensures they are signed up for Canyon Ranch Vitality daily use. Explains overall concept, benefits of each room, is knowledgeable in answering questions about technology and equipment in each space, assists guests with setting up equipment, as needed. Takes care of guests needs and provides assistance, as needed.  
Stocking and Cleaning: Ensures that all areas of Canyon Ranch Vitality are kept impeccably neat and clean, and in safe condition at all times. Ensures that all supplies and refreshments are stocked and available to guests. Ensures equipment is cleaned in between each guest use and as needed. Ensures Canyon Ranch vitality opening and closing procedures are completed daily.
Retail: Knowledgeable about retail products offered in Canyon Ranch Vitality as well as practical use and application. Uses Canyon Ranch software to charge out retail items.
Scheduling: Uses Canyon Ranch software to schedule and modify schedules for guests, as needed. Able to recommend appropriate complementary services and activities in order to benefit the guest's experience.

Other Function and Duties

Actively demonstrates Canyon Ranch service standards and Ethos princilples with staff and guests.

Partcipates in meetings as required

This is a Part-Time position.

Pay: $16.49 per hour.


Qualifications

You will need to have a High School diploma, or equivalent.

Limited experience required (1-2 years previous experience in customer service or related field).
