Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. Position Type: Part Time / Day Shoift 

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and support loss prevention awareness by reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Assist with closing procedures, crowd management, and/or direction during busy shopping periods or special events while maintaining a professional presence and providing courteous assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
