About the Job:

The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs radiography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) "Radiography Practice Standards" and the ASRT "Code of Ethics".
  • Assists the licensed practitioner in the completion of interventional procedures
  • Works under the direction of the staff radiologic technologist
  • Completes annual mandatory education on time.

Who You Are:

  • Enrollment in a formal Radiological Technologist training program from an AMA approved school.
  • Upon graduation from formal Radiological Technologist training program, employee is required to obtain a temporary Medical Imaging license
  • Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment, Required
