Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a full-time or part-time board-certified or board-eligible radiologist to become a part of our collaborative team, which consists of 20 semi-specialized radiologists and 3 physician assistants. Our primary aim is to attract individuals with excellent interpersonal abilities who are dedicated to delivering patient-focused care. Candidates with fellowship training in musculoskeletal (MSK) radiology are especially encouraged to apply. The ideal applicant will possess experience in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided procedures.

PRACTICE DETAILS

Our organization is a physician-led, multi-specialty medical group that exclusively caters to Kaiser Permanente members in the Atlanta region.

We offer an integrated practice environment that is both stimulating and rewarding, providing ample opportunities for collaboration across departments and leadership roles.

Our focus is on outpatient and urgent care imaging; we do not conduct hospital examinations. Teleradiology services cover overnight shifts.

Full-time radiologists typically work 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) each month, with compensatory weekdays off for weekend duties.

The group averages 70 wRVUs per shift, with weekday shifts tailored to specific modalities or subspecialties, while evening and weekend shifts are more general in nature.

All radiologists are placed on a shareholder track, and there is an option to work from home for non-patient-facing tasks, including evenings and weekends.

BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS
  • Our compensation structure begins with a fixed salary phase, allowing for a low-stress onboarding experience focused on quality and integration, transitioning to a market-leading productivity-based compensation model when beneficial for the radiologist (typically within 1-2 years).
  • We provide comprehensive medical and dental coverage, malpractice insurance, a CME allowance, and disability insurance.
  • A highly generous pension plan is available, supplemented by a 401k.
  • Our organization is one of Georgia's largest independent, physician-owned multi-specialty medical groups, with over 600 physicians and 200 associate practitioners collaborating in a unique integrated care model to serve more than 315,000 Kaiser Permanente members. Care is delivered across 26 medical offices equipped with state-of-the-art technology, labs, imaging services, and pharmacies. We also offer surgical services and 24/7 care at some of the region's leading hospitals.
  • We offer a competitive salary, an attractive retirement package, paid time off, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as long and short-term disability coverage, relocation assistance, and more. Additionally, we provide numerous clinical and non-clinical learning opportunities along with physician leadership development.
