Job description

USPI Swift Surgery Center of Reno is seeking a motivated Radiology Technologist - part time to join our team.

Swift Surgery Center of Reno is a fast-paced, multi-specialty, ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.     We offer an elevated patient experience for services across several specialties, including orthopedics, spine, and interventional pain management.

What You Will Do  (Job Summary): This position is an opportunity for a dynamic Radiology Technologist to join a top-notch, surgically focused center that performs thousands of procedures a year.   You will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and other procedures. 

Part time hours are 20 - 29 hours/week.

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology or XRay Technology 
  • ARRT Registered 
  • CPR Current (accredited by AHA) 
  • 1+ years of experience in C-Arm and Portable x-rays in operating room setting
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Must possess independent decision making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
