Employment Type: Part time. Regular part time hours are guaranteed, with potential for full time hours pending training availability.

RIA Invision Sally Jobe is excited to offer Mammography cross training opportunities for interested ARRT Radiologic Technologists. Any currently registered ARRT (R) technologists, or upcoming registry eligible graduates, who are interested in learning Mammography may apply. This employment opportunity is specifically focused on supporting clinical hours in Mammography, and learning Mammography procedures and protocols with our team of high quality breast care professionals.
Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by providing them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.
Primary Responsibilities:During a typical day you will...
  • Learn, observe, and assist with mammography exams on patients providing high quality images
  • Assist with technical/clerical functions in related areas of mammography imaging including quality assurance and control
  • Help provide clear and detailed information regarding exams and care to patients
  • Assist with appropriate documentation and obtain interpretation for each exam
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols in order to minimize exposure to patient and staff
  • Manage patient priority and act as a first responder when needed
  • Assist in general X-Ray as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Must currently hold ARRT (R) certification OR be able to obtain before start date
  • Must complete Mammography didactic courses separately
  • Must be willing and able to obtain ARRT (M) registry within 45 days after completion of cross-training program
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • 12 month full-time employment commitment post cross-training
  • Reliable and professional technologist
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English

Outcomes
  • Upon completion of training and ARRT (M) registry, employee will be eligible to apply and be considered for any full time ISJ Mammography opportunity
  • Pay adjustment to Mammographer market compensation
  • Sign-on bonus eligibility when converting to staff Mammography role
  • The potential to learn further breast imaging services

Base compensation for this role is between $28.00 to $34.50 per hour. An additional 10% of base wage is offered during Mammography training hours.
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Invision Sally Jobe's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will receive applications on an ongoing basis and will remain open until filled.
