Department Description:

The CHA Imaging department provides advanced medical imaging services led by a team of board-certified physicians, certified technologists and service-oriented staff . We offer a full complement of imaging services including a 128-slice CT and a wide bore 1.5T MRI. We also offer interventional radiology services, diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) which demonstrates our commitment to the safest and best quality care possible.

The Radiology Department is committed to providing patients with the highest quality of care in an efficient and timely manner. The department will be as accessible and sensitive to patient's comfort, safety and dignity as possible within the scope of services. 

Job Purpose: 

Responsible for performing all required routine and emergent procedures in diagnostic radiology, including but not limited to chest, single, and multiple view abdomen, as well as all elements of skeletal exams. The incumbent is responsible for the physical needs of the patient undergoing the exam, as well as radiation protection practices. The incumbent must be able to independently determine the quality of radiographs to insure the highest value of the radiological exam. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • AART required. New graduates considered. 
  • AHA BLS required.
