We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. The Dalles is known for its picturesque views of the Columbia River, local charm and delicious downtown restaurants and bakeries. There is something for everyone in this scenic community.<br> <br>Job Summary:<br> <br>Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. This position is represented by OFNHP.<br> <br>Job Requirements:<br><br>Education and Work Experience:<br> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Preferred</li> </ul><br>Licenses/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>American Registry of Radiologic Technologists †Radiography (ARRT-R): Required</li> <li>Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Required in OR</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li> <li>Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred</li> </ul><br>Facility Specific License/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li> </ul><br>Essential Functions:<br> <ul> <li>Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
