Dishwasher Part Time PM E/O/W
Pay Rate $15.25 p/h
Summary of Position
The Dishwasher supports the Culinary Department by operating the dish machine; cleaning, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and service wares; maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing area; and completing kitchen utility tasks (e.g., waste removal, floor care, stocking, and basic food service support) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
  • Operate the dish machine, including scraping, soaking, stacking, and racking soiled dishes, glasses, utensils, and other service wares.
  • Wash pots, pans, and kitchen tools; support cooks as assigned.
  • Store clean and sanitized service wares in designated areas.
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize the dishwashing/utility area and equipment (e.g., racks, bus tubs, carts, tables, sinks).
  • Maintain kitchen and dish area floors (sweep, mop, and complete scheduled deep cleaning such as stripping as assigned).
  • Remove trash, cardboard, and recyclables from the Culinary Department and transport to designated disposal areas.
  • Restock utility and sanitation supplies as assigned (e.g., chemicals, gloves, paper goods, trash liners).
  • Assist with basic food service support as assigned (e.g., stocking, tray set-up/bussing, desserts, garnishes, room service trays).
  • Support other dining areas and special programs as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean work environment, follow sanitation and safety practices, and present a professional appearance.
  • Attend and participate in required in-services and trainings.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
