We're seeking a fulltime skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist who is passionate about women's health and dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive imaging experience.


Pay Range: $31.45-$47.17 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Requirements

As a Mammographer, you'll serve as a key point of contact for patients while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a safe and compliant environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing a variety of mammography procedures with precision and careย 
  • Ensuring patient safety by minimizing exposure to radiation and other risksย 
  • Assessing patient needs, comfort level, and ability to tolerate proceduresย 
  • Reviewing physician orders and patient history to determine appropriate imaging protocolsย 
  • Operating and maintaining mammography and related equipment safely and effectivelyย 
  • Conducting and documenting routine quality control (QC) testingย 
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policiesย 
  • Providing compassionate, respectful care to patients and their familiesย 
  • Communicating clearly with physicians, radiologists, and care teamsย 
  • Supporting a collaborative environment across departmentsย 
  • Participating in performance improvement and quality initiativesย 
MQSA & Compliance Responsibilities
  • Assist with MQSA inspections and accreditation preparationย 
  • Maintain documentation for equipment, QC, and personnel recordsย 
  • Ensure compliance with all MQSA regulations and standardsย 
  • Support audit readiness and proper record retentionย 
  • Collaborate with physicists, radiologists, and compliance teamsย 
  • Stay current with regulatory updates and industry best practices

Minimum Required Education/Experience: Current certification/registration in Mammography by the ARRT is required. A minimum of two years work experience in mammography is preferred. ย ย 


Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:ย 

Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.ย 

Ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way for a variety of audiences.ย 

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration.


Note: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.

Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to complete tuberculosis review/assessment.

Licenses or Certificates: Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.

Unusual Demands: Work is subject to recurring and inflexible deadlines and frequent interruptions.ย
