(using VR headsets, specialized controllers, or haptic devices) to successfully execute diverse,
    unstructured manipulation and mobility tasks.
  • Data Collection & Curation: Execute high-fidelity data collection sessions to capture
human-demonstrated behaviors, ensuring clean data pipelines for machine learning and
    behavioral cloning models.
  • Physical Skill Evaluation: Push our robotic platforms to their physical limits, testing and
evaluating their dexterity, strength, and adaptability in simulated and real-world environments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with hardware, software, and AI engineers to
provide critical qualitative feedback on robot ergonomics, control latency, and physical
    limitations.
  • Field & Lab Support: Assist with setting up testing environments, managing robot hardware, and
documenting edge cases or system failures during operations. Opportunities for travel and client
    facing operation rolls.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional Hand-Eye Coordination: Strong spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and rapid reflex
capabilities sometimes demonstrated through high-level gaming, RC drone piloting, precision
machining, sports, or other complex physical trades.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort working around complex hardware, basic computer troubleshooting,
and interacting with terminal software or basic robotics interfaces.
Detail-Oriented & Methodical: Ability to follow strict testing protocols and repeatedly execute
    exact motions or tasks.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate subtle
physical feedback and edge-case anomalies to engineering teams.
Adaptability: Excited by a fast-paced startup environment where daily tasks can change based
on the team's current development sprint.
Truly exceptional talent will have experience with some or all of the following:
Experience with VR interfaces, haptic control systems, or gaming peripherals.
