Are you passionate about Video Games, Coding, Python, Roblox™, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, Drones, Minecraft™ or STEM?

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after school programs. Lead instructors guide students through our world class project based learning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design and more!

  • Semester long sessions, with options to continue into additional seasons

  • Get in-room technology experience with excited students

  • PAID training!

  • No formal experience required, but teaching experience in some capacity highly preferred

Requirements

  • Experience with technology or teaching preferred

  • Must be available after school hours (approximately 3:00 - 5:00 PM), M-F

  • Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years of age and have experience working with children ages 8-14 or technology, both are even better!

  • Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required

  • Comfortable working with teacher-to-student ratios of 12:1

  • Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streaming

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older

  • College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal. Graduating college seniors with student teaching experience are also encouraged to apply.

  • Experience teaching kids is not required, but the ideal candidate will have some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.)

  • Ability to lead a class of up to 12 kids solo and 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting

  • Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed for various classes

  • Rate: $21-$26 depending on experience, location, and availability

  • Potential opportunities to move into supervisory roles in future years
