Job description

Mental Health Center of Florida, a division of Transformative Healthcare Solutions is expanding and we are actively seeking to hire Licensed Psychologists interested in onsite or telehealth positions. As the fifth largest behavioral health company for seniors in the nation we are experiencing an increase in patients. With that, we are thrilled to reach those in need of treatment through our remote services.
This rewarding role will involve providing therapeutic services to the geriatric population and private patients. In addition, we work extensively with the child welfare dependency system, via ChildNet, contracted through the Department of Children and Families, helping children and families in crisis. The ideal candidate will be passionate, patient, ethical, and consistent. Most of our psychologists have contributed to the organization for 3+ years. Salary:
$80,000 - $105,000 (Negotiable)
Based on clinical hours worked
Per-diem rates: $60 per clinical hour

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule assessments, sessions, and client visits across your dedicated area. (Psychologist has autonomy over scheduling and days worked.)
  • Must meet weekly clinical hours agreed upon
  • Conduct telehealth remote psychological services (according to facility preference)
  • Possible supervision of postdoctoral fellows
  • Identify emotional, behavioral, psychosocial needs and strengths to integrate into care plan
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide empathetic patient care
Requirements:
  • Doctorate Required
  • Helpful but not required: experience working as a designated mental health provider to multiple facilities, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and other mental health offices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team environment
  • Flexibility in responding to day-to-day clinical service demands and provider staffing coverage needs within the Health Psychology service.
