Inspire Health Alliance is currently seeking to hire several dynamic, enthusiastic, and engaged Clinical or Counseling Psychologists for a very exciting and unique opportunity in a non-traditional, non-healthcare setting. Psychologists with a strong clinical skill set who are looking for an interesting, off-the-beaten-path opportunity, and who want to expand their experience, evolve professionally, and enjoy their work are encouraged to apply.

This is a position that does not involve diagnostic determination, comprehensive assessment, review of records, or treatment of patients. Rather, our Psychologists will assist in the process of making individualized and succinct eligibility determinations for individuals seeking short term accommodations or services in the entertainment service industry. We are committed to delivering excellent, efficient, high-quality service centered on care and compassion, and would love for you to join us!

We are currently hiring independent contractors (1099 status) and offer highly flexible scheduling, with opportunities available seven days a week based on your availability. Our scheduling system provides a wide range of shifts and hours to choose from, allowing you to create a schedule that works best for you. Candidates must thrive in an environment that calls for a team approach, close collaboration with colleagues, as well as independence. Candidates should enjoy engaging in person and virtually, consistently demonstrate a commitment to customer service, embrace challenges with a growth mindset, and be able to excel in a fluctuating and dynamic setting. Clinical/Counseling Psychologists with experience and knowledge about children and/or adults with neurodevelopmental and/or cognitive disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Customer service focused and people friendly are a plus. Passion, team spirit, commitment, and enthusiasm are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in a unique, fun onsite location to conduct both in person and virtual, individualized, succinct screenings of children, adults, families and/or their caregivers to determine eligibility for a service designed for certain persons with disabilities who require a particular type of accommodation.

  • Utilize your keen observation skills, strong listening skills, clinical acumen, experience and training to provide a compassionate response in granting or denying requests for services and accommodations.

  • Serve a high-volume program; engage and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Neuropsychologists and others.

  • Work with non-clinical colleagues to ensure an efficient, streamlined process

  • Demonstrate professional conduct and provide excellent customer service

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid License as a practicing Psychologist in California.

  • PhD or PsyD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited institution

  • Knowledge and assessment experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, psychiatric/mental health conditions and neurocognitive disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorders.

  • Strong clinical interview skills, excellent observational skills, detail oriented

  • Personable, with strong communication skills, especially spoken English language

  • Ability to maintain composure, be a keen observer, and make sound clinical judgments in fast-paced environments

  • Ability to seek appropriate consultation and team support when necessary

  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving landscape

  • Work onsite at a location in Central Orange County, California

  • Be available for both remote and in person orientation

  • Ability to engage in live, collaborative interactions with staff and presenting individuals located on site

  • Ability to also engage in virtual, collaborative interactions with staff and presenting individuals located throughout the US

  • Comfort working with a diverse population

  • Some experience working in settings such as schools, camps, community programs or other non-healthcare settings is desirable

  • Comfort with general computer skills, basic word processing, video conferencing, mobile technology devices; willing to learn new and basic technologies and applications

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

ADDITIONAL INFO

1099 Contractor status with equivalent full time or part-time hours available.

Flexible Scheduling- with ability to set your schedule to match your availability, with variations week to week permitted. We are assembling a team to cover service hours from 7 am to 9:30 pm, 7 days a week.

Pay: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour
