Prosthetist

Location: Arlington, TX

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule: Full-Time

  • Monday through Friday

  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Part-Time

  • Flexible schedule

  • Approximately 4-5 hours per day

Overview

A growing healthcare practice is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Prosthetist to join its patient-focused clinical team in Arlington, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about improving patient mobility, independence, and quality of life through customized prosthetic care.

The Prosthetist will work closely with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess functional needs, design prosthetic solutions, and provide ongoing fitting, adjustment, and follow-up care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized prosthetic treatment plans

  • Design, fit, and adjust prosthetic devices for optimal comfort and functionality

  • Perform gait analysis and evaluate patient mobility outcomes

  • Educate patients on prosthetic usage, maintenance, and rehabilitation

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals regarding patient care plans

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

  • Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards

  • Provide follow-up care and make necessary prosthetic modifications

Qualifications

  • Degree in Prosthetics or related field

  • Relevant Prosthetist certification required

  • Experience in prosthetic assessment, fitting, and patient care

  • Strong understanding of gait analysis and biomechanics

  • Knowledge of prosthetic and orthotic clinical practices

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative healthcare environment
