Work Model:
What You Will Do:
- Lead and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines
- Prepare comprehensive project budgets, monitor expenses, and manage profit projections to ensure the financial health of each project
- Coordinate and review bid documents, solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals, and negotiate subcontractor agreements to secure competitive pricing and high-quality work
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements
- Lead and facilitate project meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to discuss progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on project goals
- Oversee design development activities, collaborating with architects, engineers, and design teams to ensure plans align with project specifications and client expectations
- Manage and track project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, management, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in commercial construction, with healthcare project experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Additional certifications such as PMP, OSHA, or LEED accreditation
- Experience with design-build projects
- Knowledge of current building codes and safety regulations
