Job Description: Competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, groups and families with health-care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status. Demonstrates a caring approach which reflects and incorporates expertise.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Experience
- 2 yrs exp in Acute Psych or Comm. Mental Health nursing or a combo of the two.
- Exp in the last 5 years in psychiatric assessment & intervention required
- Exp in the last 5 yrs with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders
Education
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Other Education and Training
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic CPR, ASSIST preferred
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable

- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
