Monday Night Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery based out of Atlanta, with a distribution footprint across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina. We operate two taprooms in Atlanta, GA, a brewpub in Birmingham, AL, a full-service taproom in Nashville, TN, a brewpub in Charlotte, NC, and a taproom in Knoxville, TN. Monday Night Ventures, LLC (Atlanta, GA) is currently seeking a part-time Production Generalist to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA (primary location at Monday Night Garage). Reports to:Warehouse Manager or Packaging Manager (depending on location)

High-Level Goals:

  • Execute day-to-day warehouse and packaging operations to create a safe, efficient operation and ensure accurate timely packaging and delivery of beer to taprooms, distributors, as well as materials to production.
  • Effective inventory control of all finished product, including rotation of product for freshness
  • Effective inventory control of all packaging materials and ingredients

Warehousing Responsibilities:

All responsibilities listed below apply to products and materials related to Monday Night Brewing operations, as well as any current and future co-packing partner operations managed by Monday Night Ventures.

  • Perform daily forklifting, assembly and loading of orders for distributors and taprooms while maintaining organized warehouse space
  • Execute daily staging, loading and unloading of inter-brewery transfers of materials and finished goods
  • Perform loading and unloading of freight as they arrive
  • Perform daily review of finished goods rotation and needs for following day
  • Manage inventory of all materials and finished goods at Garage location, to include accuracy and efficient utilization of physical spaces
  • Complete transactions, transfers, posting of invoices of all inventoried items in Ekos(or any other route accounting platform)
  • Take responsibility for rotation and integrity of finished goods
  • Take ownership of long-term storage organization in Upside Down, including partnering with appropriate departments to evaluate ongoing storage needs for surplus goods and equipment
  • Communicate any equipment, material or finished goods issues to supervisor
  • Assist in all brewery and liquor related operations as needed
  • Assist in canning line operation and packaging at the Garage
  • While the majority of the work will take place the Garage location, must be able to assist in canning line operation and packaging at West Midtown location when assigned.
  • Train and direct additional part-time labor as needed
  • Demonstrate Monday Night Brewing core values of teamwork, taking responsibility, attention to detail and high sense of urgency
  • Follow all safety protocols including use of PPE and other safety measures while operating in a fast-paced brewery operation

Packaging Responsibilities:

  • Assist in packaging of all products coming out of garage facility.
  • Train and direct additional part-time labor as needed
  • Proficiently operate, maintain, clean/sanitize and troubleshoot cellar equipment, PAL equipment and tasting room coolers.
  • Regularly perform routine maintenance on cellar & PAL equipment.
  • Communicate equipment issues/needs to Garage Production Lead & Garage packaging manager
  • Work on all packaging equipment, to include operation, CIP and maintenance of 100ml canning line, bottling line, cartoner, shrink wrapper and all associated packaging equipment.
  • Perform any and all quality checks on products in tank and in finished packaging
  • Proficiently operate electric forklift and pallet jack, to include daily maintenance checks
  • Accurately manage inventory of finished goods and raw materials in Ekos in real time, including packaging entries, physical inventory counts, and receipt of goods from vendors
  • Assist with order fulfillment for all distributors and our own taprooms
  • Assist with distilling and beer operations when needed
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in packaging and warehouse areas
  • Daily staging, loading and unloading of inter-brewery transfers of materials and finished goods
  • Other tasks as assigned, including daily and weekly cleaning/organization of assigned areas
  • Demonstrating Monday Night Brewing core values of teamwork, taking responsibility, attention to detail and high sense of urgency
  • Follow all safety protocols including use of PPE and other safety measures while operating in a fast-paced brewery operation

Physical Requirements:

  • The position is extremely physical and demanding in nature and involves working with potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, exposure to high noise levels, and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Stands and/or traverses the warehouse for long periods of time, frequently climbs stairs/staircase.
  • Frequently bends, moves, transports, or lifts 60 pounds and can move 165 pounds safely.
  • Uses repetitive motions.
  • Can work in both hot and cold temperatures.
  • Keen awareness of surroundings

Compensation:

  • $20.00 per hour
  • To be reviewed annually
