Part time production workers are employees who work in manufacturing or assembly environments, typically on a reduced or flexible schedule compared to full-time staff. Their duties often include operating machinery, assembling products, inspecting items for quality, and maintaining a clean work area. Part time roles are ideal for those seeking flexible hours or balancing other commitments. These workers play a crucial role in supporting production operations and ensuring that products meet company standards.

Part-time production workers often face challenges such as adapting to varying shifts, keeping up with fast-paced production targets, and learning to operate different types of machinery quickly. Effective time management and strong communication with supervisors can help address scheduling concerns, while seeking feedback and on-the-job training can aid in mastering equipment. Building positive relationships with team members also makes it easier to collaborate and share tips for efficient workflow.

At Stampin' Up!, we believe creativity changes lives-and every product we make is part of that story. For over 35 years, we've been helping people connect and celebrate life's moments through stamps, ink, and paper. Now, we're looking for a detail-oriented Packager & Assembler in our Kanab facility who's ready to help bring that joy to life. We're in a season of exciting change and growth, and we need a can-do teammate who's flexible, eager to learn, and ready to help us keep things moving forward. If you love working with your hands, enjoy being part of a team, and want to make a difference in a creative company, this could be the perfect fit! Whether you're looking for steady part-time work or you'd like the chance to grow into a full-time Production Worker role with benefits and higher pay, we'll support your goals.
What You'll Do
  • Live our values every day: we care about people first, we act with courage, we better our best, and we own it.
  • Assemble and package stamp sets with accuracy and care, working at a pace that consistently meets or exceeds production and quality goals.
  • Add inserts and printed materials per packaging standards.
  • Complete post-production cleanup and general production reset tasks.
  • Rotate to similar assembly, stocking, or packaging tasks.
  • Perform production support duties across multiple areas, including housekeeping, stocking, production preparation, etc.
  • Inspect products for accuracy, quality, and completeness-because every detail matters.
  • Follow clear instructions, visual guides, and directions from leads and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with your team to meet goals and build a positive, supportive workplace.
  • Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized.

What We're Looking For
  • No manufacturing experience needed-we'll teach you!
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable with basic math (counting, adding, subtracting, simple multiplication).
  • A positive, adaptable teammate who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing workloads.
  • A reliable teammate who can commit to a regular part-time schedule. Some team members may choose to stay in this role long-term, while others may be interested in advancing into full-time Production Worker opportunities with training, benefits, and higher pay.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 5 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements with consistent accuracy.
  • Visual ability to detect product defects, read labels, and verify placement of components.

Why You'll Love It Here
  • Be part of a company that creates products people truly love.
  • A supportive, close-knit Kanab team where your work makes a difference.
  • An opportunity to grow with us as we adapt and better our best. Up to 25 hours per week and stability, whether you want consistent part-time hours or a pathway into a full-time, benefit-eligible role with pay increases as you learn new skills.

At Stampin' Up!, you're not just packaging products and helping production, you're helping us create moments, connections, and joy for crafters around the world. Some of our best team members choose to stay in this role long-term, while others take it as a stepping-stone into full-time production roles. Either way, you'll make a real difference here. Apply today and help us keep creativity flowing!
