FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
The Home Equity Production Assistant will support the Real Estate Processing Department by ensuring vendor orders are placed, coordinating loan documentation, and ensuring they are saved to the corresponding file. This position will play an essential role in assisting the Home Equity Processors with working through the loan process in a quick and efficient manner to meet our members' needs. They'll also be responsible for running and distributing production reports for leadership, monitoring results and identifying delays in action. This role plays an important part in providing best in class service for our members. This position will work in collaboration with other departments and partners.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Supervisor, Real Estate Processing
Supervises: none
Contacts: All levels of credit union employees, internal and external auditors, and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
      • Experience in loan processing or loan set up helpful
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
Skills:
      • Must possess strong communication, organizational, presentation, member service and interpersonal skills.
      • Manage loan condition documents using a shared inbox and drive to ensure they are filed accordingly and in a timely manner
      • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while still being detailed and results oriented.
      • Demonstrates strong analytical/problem solving and time-management skills
      • Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Real estate origination systems

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Demonstrates Bellco's Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments.

2. Completes activities and SLA goals associated with Real Estate - Originations. Review incoming documents for completeness and proper indexing prior to processor review. Upload and organize documentation within the loan origination system.
3. Monitor and distribute daily, weekly and monthly production reporting for leadership. Daily communication within the team to provide updates and status of pipeline
4. Assist processors with overflow administrative tasks as volume dictates and providing support during peak production cycles and promotional periods.
5. Educate members on conditions and assist members with inquiries.
6. Utilize internal reports and dashboards to maintain required service levels and ensure all daily tasks are completed.
7. Work in collaboration with other team members in Home Equity and other business areas.
8. Prepare and participate in regular pipeline reviews with team to ensure daily tasks are met.
9. Assist with coverage for co-workers to maintain member communication and processes to meet service level agreements.
  1. Ensure compliance with regulatory, and Agency requirements including but not limited to RESPA, Homeowner's Protections Act of 1998, SCRA, Fair Credit Legislation, HMDA, and CFPB.
