Part time procurement jobs involve purchasing goods or services for an organization on a schedule that is less than full time, typically under 40 hours per week. Professionals in these roles handle tasks such as sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders while balancing flexible work hours. This allows companies to meet their supply needs while offering employees a more adaptable work schedule, which can be ideal for students, parents, or those seeking work-life balance.

Familiarity with procurement software (such as SAP Ariba or Oracle Procurement Cloud) and basic financial analysis tools is highly valuable. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication enable you to manage vendor relationships and coordinate purchases efficiently. These skills are crucial to ensure cost-effective sourcing, compliance with company policies, and smooth operations within limited work hours.
