Job Summary : The Barback is primarily responsible for clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables for the next guest. Secondary responsibilities include assisting Bartenders in providing excellent guest service, and the proper maintenance, stocking, and cleaning of side stations, floors, furniture, bar tops, bar lounge and restrooms.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and sweeping the dining areas of the bar and bar lounge, cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting each table and bar top for the next guest, taking out the garbage, stocking with necessary supplies, and cleaning the bathrooms.
  • Anticipate guests' and coworkers' needs and exceed guest service expectations.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to guests' and coworkers' needs.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
  • Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
  • Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Friendly, energetic, detail-oriented team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment!
  • One year full service restaurant experience required. We offer on-the-job training.
  • A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time.
