Job Title: Portable Toilet (Porta Potty) Field Technician
Job Summary:A Portable Toilet Field Technician is responsible for delivering, servicing, cleaning, maintaining, and retrieving portable restroom units at customer locations. This role requires safe driving, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions while maintaining high sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver, set up, and pick up portable toilet units at customer sites.
- Service portable toilets by pumping waste, refilling fresh water and sanitation chemicals, restocking toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and cleaning units.
- Perform routine inspections to identify damage or maintenance needs.
- Operate vacuum pump trucks and service equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily routes according to schedules and customer requests.
- Maintain accurate service logs, inspection reports, and delivery records.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on portable restroom units and equipment.
- Keep trucks, tools, and equipment clean and in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous sanitation, delivery, or route service experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, walking, and standing.
- Ability to work around sanitation waste and cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to safely operate service trucks and pumping equipment.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work at construction sites, special events, industrial facilities, and commercial locations.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, odors, dust, and noise.
- May require early mornings, overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts.

Work Location: On the road
